Ålesund is internationally famous for its Jugendstil/Art Nouveau architecture. After the fire in 1904 , the town was rebuilt in this unique architectural style with a myriad of spires, towers and richly detailed ornamentation. From the town mountain, Aksla, you will get a magnificent view of the town and surrounding district. The Atlanterhavs Park, one of the largest aquariums in Europe, is also well worth a visit.

Route: Geiranger - Eidsdal - Linge (ferry) - Valldal - Trollstigen - Åndalsnes - Åfarnes - Sølsnes (ferry) - Molde - Elnesvågen - Vevang - Atlanterhavsvegen.

This trip offers many high points. Trollstigen is a unique experience, with sheer cliff faces, thundering waterfalls and the road itself, snaking through hairpin bends down the steep mountainside. Atlanterhavsvegen is the road that carries you over 8 bridges, connecting the islands of the mainland. An attraction in the European Elite League and an unforgettable experience regardless of the weather. Excellent fishing and diving. You will also find "The Town of the Roses" Molde, well worth a visit.

Den tradisjonsrike seterstølen Herdalsetra ligger på en vid slette 520 m.o.h. Her har det vært seterdrift i snart 300 år. En tur til setra kan by på mange opplevelser:
Seterkost i Kaffistova, rømmegrøt, svele, ost, lefse og (etter avtale) omvisning i setermiljøet med ysting og smaksprøver av geitost og geitemelkkaramell. Sesong ca. 1. juli - 31. august. Kaffistova er åpen daglig kl 1200 - 1700.
