If you arrive from the south, the mountain road - Strynefjellsveien - will offer you gleaming white snow and views of glacier arms well into the summer months. The final stretch down
to Geiranger is called Geirangervegen, and takes you through no less than 38 bends,and offers you fantastic panorama views.The equally impressive Ørneveien is the gateway for those
arriving from Ålesund, or choose the famous Trollstigvegen from Åndalsnes. The third alternative is the Geiranger Fjord itself, which can be experienced on board the car ferry from
Hellesylt, from the deck of one of the many cruise or tourist ships that visit Geiranger, or on board Hurtigruten - the Coastal Express - that calls daily at Geiranger throughout the
summer season.
